"India’s Quantum Ecosystem Gained Momentum Under Enabling Policies, Jitendra Singh Says"

India’s emerging quantum technology ecosystem has strengthened because of enabling policy support from the Modi government, Minister of State for Science and Technology Jitendra Singh said on Tuesday. His remarks underscore the government’s effort to position quantum computing, communications and sensing as strategic pillars of India’s next technology cycle. Singh’s comments reflect a broader policy push to build domestic capability in advanced science, reduce dependence on imported technologies and create a research-to-industry pipeline that can support national security, innovation and economic competitiveness.
