Parveen and Ankush Deliver Statement Wins as India Boxers Surpass Previous Asian Games Medal Haul

Indian boxing continued its strong run at the 2026 Asian Games as Parveen and Ankush produced decisive victories to move into medal rounds, extending a campaign that has already outstripped India’s four-medal return from the previous edition. With six Indian pugilists now assured of podium chances, the contingent has turned early promise into a meaningful medal surge. The results underline both the depth of India’s women’s and men’s boxing programmes and the country’s growing consistency on the continental stage.
